* The cruise line does reserve the right to implement a fuel surcharge if fuel rates are above $70/barrel at anytime which could be up to $9 per person per day. This fuel surcharge is unlikely. The cruise lines do everything they can to avoid charging this fee. Fuel rates have been over $70/barrel for some time and they have yet to implement this charge.

Most dining, room service, activities and entertainment onboard the ship is included in the fares above.  Not included are gratuities ($10 per person/per day), carbonated and alcoholic beverages, onboard store purchases and optional trip insurance and shore excursions.

Beverage Packages
Bottomless Beverage Package for unlimited soft drinks and juice is $4.50 per child 17 and under per day plus a 15% gratuity and $6.00 per adult per day plus 15% gratuity. Or you can purchase 4 soft drink coupons for $7.77 (no gratuity fee). The beverages that are complimentary on the cruise is non-speciality coffees and teas, lemonade, milk, water from the juice fountain, juice in the morning. These are offered in the dining areas and on the lido deck. The milk is in cartons so you may take extras to your room if you need them for children later in the day.

Proof of Citizenship

US Citizens are not required to have a passport for a cruise that departs from a US port and returns to a US port; however, it is recommended that all passengers have a passport. In the event that there is a medical emergency a passenger without a passport will not be allowed to fly to the states for treatment.

 

US citizens 16 and older may provide a certified or notarized copy of their birth certificate along with a government issued photo ID such as a Drivers License. If the name on the birth certificate differs from that on the drivers license then legal proof of the name change is required such as a certified or notarized copy of marriage certificate. Children under the age of 16 need to provide a certified or notarized copy of their birth certificate but do not need a photo ID. Carnival must be able to link children traveling with a parent or legal guardian by there birth certificate or other legal documents such as a certified or notarized copy of adoption papers. In the event that there will be any children traveling without a parent please inform me so I can explain what is required for them.

 

Cabin Assignments

There must be one passenger assigned to each cabin who is 25 years or older unless all passengers in the cabin are 21 years of age. However, once on board you may move passengers around if you desire.

 

Youth Programs

All children are supervised by staff who have experience and/or education in child-care. And when it's time to eat kids get their very own menus, featuring all their favorites like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza, macaroni & cheese, hamburgers and more. Camp Carnival for kids ages 2-11 have their own space, games, paints, crayons, pool area and everything else that young cruisers love. There is Outdoor Fun, Board Games, Reading & Story Time, Finger Painting, Kids' Dance Parties, Kids' Talent Shows, Music & Movement Activities, and the Latest Game Consoles. Children 6 months and older may participate in the program with there parents.

Toddlers 2 - 5:
Children will enjoy activities from finger painting to cartoon time and arts and crafts to puppet shows.
The age-appropriate activities at Camp Carnival are sure to delight your 2–5 year-olds. The smaller children enjoy many of their fun events in the Camp Carnival headquarters. From finger painting to cartoon time, arts and crafts to puppet shows, your little ones will have a blast!

Juniors 6-8:
Activities include fun-filled and exciting activities like Spin Art, dodgeball, volcano making and more. They can participate in a large variety of themed activities and games - including prize bingo, water colors, jewelry making, foosball, air hockey, and much more!

 

Intermediates 9 - 11:
All day long they will have the opportunity to play participate in activities from dodgeball and pool parties to video games and sporting events.

 

 

Circle “C” 12 – 14:

The ultimate spot where children ages 12-14 can cruise, chill, and connect to others. Cool activities, awesome facilities and lots of great new friends to add to their text-mail lists. The activities (think games, dance parties, outdoor movies and more) are supervised and created just for them. The friendly and experienced staff at Circle "C" wants to give your teens the best vacation experience possible. All activities are coordinated by a Circle "C" Director and dedicated to keeping the activities fun for our young guests. Our playrooms offer a wide variety of games and equipment including, a video arcade and much more. Specialty items like air hockey, foosball, and karaoke (these are varied based on the class of ship) are also available. There are also special shore excursions, giving your kids the chance to explore our exciting destinations with a fun cruise director. Every night aboard a Carnival cruise our young guests can "mix and mingle" to the latest pop music. Carnival knows the importance of providing your children with top-notch care and supervision. All of our youth counselors have to meet important educational and professional requirements, as well as pass an extensive background check. They are professionally trained in CPR and are able to provide basic first aid for cuts and bruises. Additionally, should there be a medical emergency, all counselors are instructed to contact the parents immediately, as well as the shipboard infirmary.

 

Club 02 15 – 17:

Club 02 activities are designed to be cool and a little more relaxed. Teens can hangout with their friends and watch a movie, listen to the latest music, play video games or join karaoke jam sessions. We've even set up teen-only shore excursions so your young adults can enjoy the sites and sounds of our beautiful ports with their peers. From the moment your teen steps into Club O2 every activity and event - from basketball and volleyball, to ping pong and high-energy dance and pool parties - has been specially created with teens ages 15-17 years old in mind. Club O2's dedicated lounge area onboard is a hot spot with cool colors, comfy seating, video monitors, and a state-of-the-art dance floor. Teens can enjoy Coca-Cola products and other non-alcoholic specialty drinks as they watch movies, play video games and participate in this activity driven club - ALL with the goal to keep your teen havin' FUN. Each director brings their own unique style to Club O2. They are hired and trained to spark the interest of teens and get them involved in great activities. Their motivation and dedication to the program ensures your teen's cruise experience is unlike any they have ever had before. They are hosts, entertainers and often DJ's for our great teen-themed parties.

Babysitting Services
Parents can take advantage of their evening "After Hours" services from 10 pm till 12 am. After 12 am, juniors and intermediate will join the younger cruisers for their Slumber Party service until 3 am.

Camp Carnival Night Owls
You know what they say – the fun comes out at night. And that’s just the reason we offer Camp Carnival Night Owls. For just a small fee, this surefire fun zone is open to kids ages 11 and younger from 10 PM to 3 AM. It’ run by Camp Carnival Staff with professional childcare experience to ensure your child is safe at all times.
